My Sharp Aquos - Page 2

you might have upped the resolution of the monitor by plugging in the s-video (I think it has a higher resolution than cable of 640*480)

but it really shouldn't...maybe read the manual? I know...rare occasion

If I recall correctly, the Aqous line of televisions are just LCD televisions, not HD, therefore not capable of the correct resolutions to be used as a computer montor... That would explain the sloppy, blurry appearance. As for the color distortion, beats me.

I know, right? Go buy a Radeon 9000 or 9200 and come tell us again how great and wonderful ATi is... You could at the very least do something even remotely close to a fair comparison

Come on Lando, I was kidding/sarcasm. Anyways the Aquos are HD, the 45in and above models are 1080p capable, not sure about the lower ones but im sure if he OWNS the TV then he must know what its capable of.

Yes the Aquos is HDTV... And I actually found out how to get the colours nice and neat but now all Ive got is the resolution problem and the text isnt that sharp... But for any of you that are getting an LCD HDTV this is a very good buy beautiful colours and very sharp pictures (awsome for movies)!
