The original xbox was amazing having a 700Mhz cpu and all, but even though they crash, cost alot more and are not as mainstream for gaming as consoles you can't beat a pc.

I dont understand the hype. My set-up KILLS an XBox 360 graphics wise, as I'm sure it'll do as well with the Revolution and the PS3.

I'm not a fanboy of any of them anymore....but I think it's kind of sad you have to buy a 400 dollar unit and then jimmy-rig it with a piece of string? And you guys are actually JUSTIFYING that?

Not justifying it, all it says for is just to elevate it off the floor a little bit, that may just mean looping the power cable around something.. And before I say anything more about graphics.. just want 2 screenshots comparing them

Ok, I am not a fanboy, but I love certain games, like the ones that are on the Xbox, and Xbox360. Not to mention Zelda . My games are with the Xbox and the GC (I will see about a revolution Zelda...). So I guess I am not going to be buying a $ony P(o)Sx3. I just don't like the games. Being a drug dealer definately doesn't interest me, and neither does a P2P MMO from a console . 360 it is

I'm getting tired of saying this, so listen, this is for everyone one else who thinks they're pcs can deliver better graphics than the Xbox 360. What you don't understand, is that the 18 games that are out right now, are not even near what the Xbox 360 can do, the game developers don't quite know how to use the Xbox 360 at its full capacity. Anyway, you should know this by now, that when a new console is released, the first games that are released for it don't show what the console is capable of. Take a look at the first ps2 games, and take a look at games like God of War, Resident Evil 4, Tekken 5 and Devil May Cry 3. Don't be to hasty to judge.

I'm just saying what I've noticed. I realize that developers dont use them to their full abilities just yet. Just saying what I've seen. I'm sure it'll be improved apon. Like you said, look what RE4 proved FINALLY for the GC.

That still doesn't excuse that they advertised the XBOX360 as a vertical standing system and it overheats that way.

Its the power supply, it just needs to be suspended a little bit.

And all the while game developrs are learning to make the xbox 360 look good, they're doing the same for the PC... Have you seen UT2007 yet? Anyway, enough of this, thread closed...
And maybe I'm just old-fashoned or somethin, but when I spend four hundred freakin dollars, or more if I wasn't at Best Buy two days before release to stand in line so I had to buy it for one or two thousand dollars on ebay, I want the damn thing to work, no problems whatsoever, right out of the freakin box. No mods, no jerry-rigging little temporary fixes, whatever. I should be able to turn it on, pop in my game, and go for the entire night and the next morning and the system should never miss a beat. The PS2 did, the Gamecube did it, and the Xbox did it, this piece of crap should too.
