As far as modding your setup, I can't see any other 1/4" pumps that you can upgrade to. As you said, you're upgrading to a DIY system. Nice choice.

The reason why I don't like the Big Water is because of the tubing. It's only like 6mm ID I believe. Regardless of the pump, the volume of water that moves through that kit is in desperate need of bigger tubing.

Yep. In reality, that pump is more than likely perfectly sufficient for the setup. 1/4 tubing is what's the limiting factor. There really isn't much you can do to a setup like that to get it to flow faster. The whole TT setup is built around 1/4 tubing, so if you adapted it to 1/2, you'd need a new block because the block is suited for 1/4 inch tubing.

don't bother upgrading the bigwater - just save up some cash and replace it with a nice swiftech kit or something

ok ive heard enough bad stuff already and i havent even finished building my pc yet still waiting on memory and 7800gtx 512 to go.

i think its going to get dumped by the time i get the 7800gtx. I want to water cool it as well im looking at getting the swiftech h20 'extreme duty' but i dont want that double fan rad that comes with the kit so i i will be selling the rad and replacing it with this once.

any opinions if this will hinder performance cooling the cpu, chipset and 7800gtx ?

the kit is http://www.pccasegear.com/prod2834.htm

the rad replacement is http://www.pccasegear.com/prod315.htm

anyone who lives in sydney australia and wants a cheap virtually brand new bigwater kit kit me up

That kit is an excellent choice, you should notice a difference compared to the TT kit.

just use the double radiator, mine fits in the front wirh the power module and 4 optical drives installed in there...
all I did was take 4 90 degree L brackets and fasten the radiator to the drive rails, no vibration no hassle and my highest load temp so far after playing around today was 30 C.
