Memory Temps

Thread Starter
I'm running 4 Corsair CMx512 3200CTPT matched strips and they are running between 45c and 50c is this to hot? Plus my memory test always fails with a memory allocation error. Is there a fix or should I just take two out?

Try with two and see if theres any error, then with the other two, if theres no error then it might be a problem with your board taking 4xdimms, In my manual its not recommended to use all 4 slots of ram if its 400mhz ram. The temp might indicate that theres something wrong, possibly too much voltage (might cause errors as well as heat) either find the ram's voltage or just lower it to 2.7v or 2.6v if its somewhere like 2.9v and up, best of luck.

edit : there should be a voltage adjustment somewhere within your BIOS, read your manual or do some searching.
