Msi are decent overclockers try fsb of 223 x 10 and slowly increase fsb and monitor temp. Not sure about V Core.Don't rely on the temp stats in bios, i overclocked my friends pc and it read 103 degrees celcius. 34 degrees is normal. If you have monitoring software that came with your msi then use that. Also if you overclock using the MSI tool it does not change the bios. And yet another if it does not boot up after you change bios remove cmos battery on mobo its a small round silver 1 its somethimes difficult to get out though try not to use force as this could lead to finger/nail screwdriver slipping damaging your mobo.

BIOS overclocking is a lot more stable than Windows based overclocking programs.

well i believe your 3000+ is only a 9 multi max... here are a couple pics of mine OC'ed and the stock temps with a nice aftermarket cooler are around 34c on load.

Mine OC'ed at 288x9=2592 hit's 47c max under load. 50-55c is as high as you prob want to go. My mem is running 2.5, 4, 4, 9 @ 216Mhz with 2x512 Wintec's under dualchan.

My specs are listed below as well.
