Well, mostly what I'll do is play games like Battlefield 2, I do Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver. That's all of the major things besides web surfing/chatting/email/schoolwork...

So this one will be sufficient?

Thank you all very much. I really appreciate this.

there is a chance 2gb of memeory would do you good, but you certainly could try 1 at first and upgrade later if needed. also a 6800gs is about $200 and a 7800gt is about $300 both good buys but the 7800gt will do better in bf2 than the 6800 by a fair amount. just another option.

that sunbeam would be sufficient but they are sold out in most stores. try xoxide and coolerguys.

Well, I might order it from Newegg, and use the auto-notify feature to tell me when it's in stock. I'm in no rush to build this, so I'm good for now.

And I don't need to go as high as a 7800gt, as long as it's decently play-able and it won't go out-of-date for a good while, I can live with it. So the 6800GS will be fine for me. Thank you again.

Get the Lanparty SLI-DR Expert instead of the SLI-DR. More stability when overclocked and more features. Only $3 more than the one you're going for right now, too .

Thank you =D

1 question though, the one I'm getting says that it has " EZ-on / EZ-touch onboard switch button nVIDIA nTune(embedded overclocking solution) CMOS reload", and the 'Expert' one doesn't specify that it has it, but does it have it?

Comparison:

Again, thank you!

Is there any particular reason why you picked that case? Not saying there's anything wrong with the case, it looks good. However, the COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW would be a better choice. Has much better air flow. I've been using this for almost 4 months when I built my first system and I don't think I'd recommend anything else.

Things may get a little more dusty, but you should be dusting your PC at the very least, once a month anyway...right?? Anyway, here's a link to that case.

A couple of things I really like about this case is, on the back of the case, the screws (on the right side panel looking at the backend) are hand-friendly. Expansion slots and drivebay slots are also screwless which is very nice IMO. However the also have screw holes if something should need that extra support. My only complain about the case is the front panel. The plastic pieces that snap into the case break very easily and I had a very tough time taking off and putting back on the front panel because my DVD drives were getting in the way of something.

Still though, aside from the front panel issue, I was very satisfied with this case.

Well, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a case just because it looked good or anything, so I just picked out a reasonably priced case that had a decent rating on Newegg.

I might consider that case, it's the same price and also has 5 star... I mean eggs... from the reviewers... lol

Well, I'm not planning on OC'ing, and if I do, I won't be trying to do it much.

And that opteron is a little more than the 3700+ San Diego if I get the retail intead of OEM... although that's not really a big deal at all I suppose.
