Thoughts on this PSU?

Well my powersupply died thanksgiving night.... Happy thanksgiving indeed, so I need a new one and found this one on Newegg. It looks pretty solid and seems really good for the price and all the customer reviews are good but was wondering some of your thoughts on it.

It looks like a solid PSU to me, the 12v+ rails are really strong too. I say go for it! Plus a 20$MIR

Looks good to me. Just a note, I usually count 70-80% of the wattage, just to be safe.

How did your old one die?

Great looking PSU, I'm looking to get a descent one but budget wise I cant afford anything that spectacular, don't mean to piggy back your post but I'm keeping a look out for something with good dual +12v rails, if you stumble across one for like 50$ PM me with a link.

Dual 12v+ are pretty expensive (to me at least). A brand called High Power is a decent budget PSU. I have a 350w one, and it's way better than my generic 550w, it's also a dual fan.

I'm sorry, but I can hardly recommend any PSU that isn't modular. Since my builds have all had windows, modular PSUs are the way to go. Even windowless, modular PSUs are easier to wire, and keep air flowing much better. I have built 2 computers with the OCZ Modstream series, my first had 520 and the one I have now is 450W. 26A on the 12v, it's quite stable.

I like newegg, but I would spend the extra money in a new computer to get this: http://www.frozencpu.com/psu-163.html

HOLY CRAP! That is so damned sexy.

It just kinda gave up on me. I knew a 400w cheap psu that came with my case wouldn't power my system forever I just haven't had the money to buy a new one.

Hmm that one is sexy indeed, but I think im gonna buy the one I posted. Cheaper with slightly higher rails and free 3 day shipping.
