actually, the x1600 sucks. i'm sure my overclocked X800GTO could kick its butt hard in most tests, if not all

Actually I doubt it has anything to do with your card. Auto overclock sucked for me. I only got like 570/690 out of my card. Then I got the Omega Drivers and used them to overclock manually and managed to get 619/737 with no artifacts (using the Omega artifact scanner).
Very nice!

i'll .. uh, third this, since i just got that cooler and got 70 more mhz out of both my GPU and RAM (and it keeps it 30C cooler than it used to be at the slower speeds!).

You have an 840EE and an x1800xl and you're getting 74k in aquamark3?!

There's definately something wrong with that man, are you sure its not an x800xl or is it definately an x1800xl?

I mean, I got 77k in aquamark3 with a single core at 4ghz and a 6800GT at 450/1240. You sure get much better than me for sure!

And Ill have to 5th it. My card is at 540/690 and it doesnt get above 40C load. One time I actually forgot to plug it in and the core only went to 60C on passive cooling. The aluminum ramsinks are a great addition as well.
