you might go with the OCZ platinum rev.2 2x512 ram from newegg.com
and it's cheaper and better than the premier stuff

also, a pre-OCed gpu is a waste of money, just get a normal 7800gt and OC it yourself...maybe get a zalman vf700 for it

ya, just pick up the zalman and the 7800gt, and use either coolbits or atitool to auto OC it for you or you could get the artic cooling cooler which is a little slimmer. It expells the heat directly out of the case, which is good for your case and cpu temps, and I hear it is quieter

Also, the RAM...I was thinking US$, not CAD...sorry...but you might just go for it, since it has the $25 rebate...just an idea

I found a PNY 7800GT for 395.99 after 50 rebate from tigerdirect.ca
or an XFX7800gt from Monarch Computers for 305.99 US$ (358 CA$) AND there is a $30 US rebate on it too!

hahaha, good news! my money limit increased!! I came across some money

I decided to get the XFX 7800GTX instead of the 7800GT. The processor im not so sure about yet. These are the ones Im choosing between:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.2GHz Dual Core Socket 939 512K L2 Cache http://canadacomputers.com/index.php...67&cid=CPU.611

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.0GHz Dual Core Socket http://canadacomputers.com/index.php...75&cid=CPU.611

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 2.4GHz w/1MB L2 Cache http://canadacomputers.com/index.php...73&cid=CPU.611

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.0GHz Dual Core Socket 939 512K L2 Cache http://canadacomputers.com/index.php...75&cid=CPU.611

thanks in advance.

I'll also take recommendations, but do any of these overclock well?

I also need suggestions on a better motherboard, ram, and PSU.

Canada Computers rocks eh? If you are doing an online order try NCIX, they are out of BC but they are a bit cheaper on some components (check shipping prices though)
