Azza NFS2-ALH MB / AMD 2400+ Optimal settings?

Thread Starter
Thanks in advance for any advice and tolerating my newbie questions!

I have an Azza NFS2-ALH motherboard, which I bought several years ago. I regret buying it somewhat as the salesperson told me it was just a cheaper generic version of an Asus board - yet I've built a few newer PCs for friends/relatives and found things much easier with a name brand board (I've used MSI lately). Many more BIOS settings for OC'ing and BIOS updates - plus great user forums for support are some of the things I miss. In any case, here are my questions...

Is there a BIOS update that will work for this board? Is there any reason I would need it? Certainly, Azza hasn't provided any...

Are there hidden settings in my BIOS that I can access with a certain key combination? There are no settings for voltages for example.

Will I be able to Overclock my system more with better / low latency RAM? I know that's an important factor when overclocking, but my AthlonXP 2400+ is old and I haven't found any definitive answers when I google for information...

Here are what my current BIOS settings are...system specs below.

BIOS: NFS2ALH.B12
Memory Frequency: 125%
During POST it says: DDR Dual Channel 166mhz
FSB: 133mhz
T(RAS): 8
T(RCD): 3
T(RP): 3
T(CAS): 2

When I set the RAM to Auto (by SPID) it's set to 8-3-3-3, but I've had no problems running MemTest86+ with the CAS set to 2. I guess what I'm asking is some advice on the optimal settings, how to get the best performance with what I have, and if upgrading to PC3200 RAM would benefit me at all. I can increase the FSB in 1Mhz increments, and I'm not sure where it fails to POST, but it's not very high (200Mhz max). I have a jumper on my MB for a "safe" mode where it sets it to 100MHz which I've used the few times I've tried to increase my FSB settings. Would increasing my RAM timings allow me to increase the FSB? Again, thanks for any and all help!

You'll need a new board or bios to help you OC more...but at that bus speed...you'd be better off gettin a new Mobo
