Why is this happening?

Hi guyz,

I have a problem... When i ran Aquamark, 3Dmark03 & 3Dmark05 on the card overclocked to any frequency, i get really low scores, Aquamark = less than 60K, 3Dmark03 = less than 10K, 3Dmark05 = less than 5K!! But when i run the graphics card at stock clock i manage to get much higher scores Aquamark = almost 70K (67K~69K), 3Dmark03 = 12K (or a bit more), 3Dmark05 = just over 5K, these are the scores i get when I leave it to stock frequencies or do the 'automatic overclock' thingy of coolbits. I have the 81.95 Drivers of Nvidia (WHQL certified). Tried using ATI tool but still got the same problems... This is really strange... any ideas?

It might be your mother board. Ports.
Try updateing you mobo and see if that helps.
If it doesnt do anything. Then try uninstalling you Vidcard.
Then reinstall it.
With newest drivers.

well... my bord is a DFI Lanparty NF3 Ultra-D.. it's one of the best AGP boards out there so i don't think it's the board... i uninstalled and tried different drivers, still the same...

the bios is set to a 66Mhz AGP frequency.. which can overclock to 100Mhz, but does not effect (coz i tried it). the AGP port voltage is set to 1.6Volts..

I'm using 3D coolbits downloaded from www.guru3d.com, i tried using ATI tool, but still no difference... I hope that the card is not dieing, i saw this change from when i bought the new system (check my specs)

watch the benchies carefully, testing for artifacts is not enough, oc'ed cards have a tendency to freeze or drop fps during some of the heavy rendering scenes

Compare your fps at memorable slowdowns, on am3 my rig slowed to like 60fps during the gas looking test, after some tweaking I got it up to 90fps and it really improved my score.

The best oc is the most functional oc, not always the highest oc.
See which setting it runs smoothest at and try to go from there.

Well i'll do that when i have some time... I was thinking that maybe it's a compatability issue between MSI (the brandname of the GFX car) and the board... could this be?
