Need Help Finding Budget Laptop

Thread Starter
Does anyone know of any really great budget laptops that I could find. I'm looking for one that won't break the bank. I guess the only stipulations are that it can only cost as high as $800 and I would like at least 512 MB of RAM.

Thx.

Check out www.gotapex.com. They often have great deals and coupon codes for laptops. One of my coworkers picked up a $1600 laptop for about $850 delivered thanks to a $750 off of $1500 laptop purchase. The coupons/deals vary as frequently as daily, so be sure to check back there often (they also link various other deals, many of which are tech related).

I'd check out Dell's notebooks. Their budget line is very affordable, but are severely underpowered. For basic web browsing and office type applications they are perfect. However if you are looking to game with it, I'd look elsewhere.
