Oh, sorry, I meant my friend's rig that I'm keeping for him for a while that has 2 4890 XXX Editions. He folds too (for a different team though) and I have it set up in my room next to my computer. I had the DVI input on my monitor plugged into my computer, and the D-Sub and HDMI on his computer. I unplugged all 3 of the GPUs when I left. None of the cards had errors the entire time (but my room was like 90 degrees when I got home).
I left the DVI to D-Sub adapter and the DVI to HDMI adapter on his computer though, is it possible that that acted as a dummy plug would? I wouldn't think so, but it's possible....
Sorry for being so vague. I guess I just assume that people know exactly what I'm talking about sometimes...
