Unlocked temp sensor by flashing bios, currently its oc'ed with nvidia freq changing to: 570mhz core / 1.10ghz mem. stock was 500/900. Benched 260fps average on ATi tools with out even exceeding the stock idle temps on the stock heatsink!!!!!!!! stock it idled 52c, with zalman vga cooler, it idles 43c. when scanning for artifacts it went to 51c, I personally think thats amazing considering before I overclocked it the idle temps were 52c alone!!!!!!!.

Getting down to the actual questions.. Whats the max you guys got from this card + zalman heatsink ? so far max i seen from ATI tools was 289fps but average while scanning for artifacts for about 4min was 252fps

well i had a Gigabyte that stock was 450?/1000 and i got it to 600/1200 w/o artifacts and a zalman cooler. You probably can expect more from your memory but the core is probably at its limits... nice oc though

My XfX (which is 500/1000 stock) can get 600/1200 but it isnt a real improvement over my every day oc of 572/1154.
Id recomend you mod the ram sinks that came with the zalman, you should be able to bump the ram up a bit more then.
You can check out my FAQ to get an idea of how its done.

On the 6600GT you only have 4 ram chips, so you will only use 4 ram sinks.
One on each chip its self. With a little time and patience the ram chips can be modded so they fit under the zalman hsf.

EDIT: Here is a very close up pic of mine.

yeah my score with my 6600GT was in the 3k range. I had (well still have it... it's in the closet) a MSI 6600GT stock 500/1000 and w/ stock cooling it went to 570/1140. without a hitch. It also stayed in the 40's idle and 50's load. I never bothered to put a zalman on it becuase it already had a copper heatsink and it stayed cooler than most 6600GT's
