:: XFX :: 7800GTX 512mb or 256mb?

post #1 of 31
Thread Starter
The 512mb is around £530 and the HIGHEST 256mb is £400 now with times moving on how long will it be before a better one then the 512mb is out? If i go for the 256mb i can get watercooling if i go for 512mb i cant but would have one hell of a GFX CARD!

Anyway how many GPU does the 512mb and 256mb have? (2 on 512 and 1 on 256? Im unsure)

thanks

get the 512!!! If you can afford it, the clocks are so high that it blows everything out of the water in this

The 7800GTX 512 dominates the 7800GTX 256.. It has a much higher clock on the core, and the memory.. IF you can, get the 7800GTX 512.

Get the 512. You think they are fast out of the box? (550/1700). I've got mine benching @ 630/1960 (On stock cooling)

But then again watercooling is very nice too lol.

probably not to soon, since the release of the ATi x1800xl and this from Nvidia. But this will be a good card for a while to come
