the extra voltage going to your video card is probably draining the rest of the system and making it perform not well or its just unstable...

an increase in clock speed does not always create an increase in scores, if your oc settings are unstable, and that causes freezes/lags in a benchie it will negatively affect your score. back it down a little and see if it improves.

Maybe you cpu is bottlenecking the card causing it to perform badly. Here's an example: With my cpu at 2.6 ghz, I get a better benchmark scores with my vid card clocked at 410/1100 than I do at 430/1200. Weird huh? But If I put my cpu at 2.7 then I can go higher with the vid card oc before it craps out, like 420/1150. Which leads me to believe my cpu is bottlenecking my vid card oc. Could be the same with your situation.

Actually this is not a single case of this. Me and many others all have this happen, if you overclock your card too high your 3dmark05 score will actually decrease. This could be some bug in the system I am really not sure, but if the card is staying stable and decently cooled with no artifacts and your noticing performance increases in your games then I wouldn't be worried.

Also I wouldn't recomend increasing the voltage to your card, this will kill your card quickly. There have been to many people who do volt mods and have to RMA their cards, It's not gonna increase your performance at a huge rate so in my opinion its definatly not worth the risk.

my guess is that your card is throtteling, try lowering you overclock bit my bit till your start seeing your 3Dmark05 score increased. Then again, buy a decent 3rd party gpu cooler for you card as 75°C are high...
