well the nuuo is modular, but the clear one is not..but it's clear! I'm sure you could mod the nuuo to be clear. but 34A on the 12V+ is super...but the nuuo is good for SLi, but you'll get straight supply to the vid with the nuuo.

the aspire looks like a good psu for 60$, and is sli ready. anyone have any experience with it? the nuuo seems lil too expensive.

I had the Aspire 520W for a month or so. After I added a few fans and another hard drive, it simply couldn't power my system. I exhanged it at newegg for the beefier 600w version.

what about this psu. the price is just right, and 35A +12v. im sure it can handle sli. i also have 6 120mm case fans, and a zalman 700 vga heatsink. my current psu has enough wattage, just not enough amps.

That's the exact psu that I had. Keep in mind when looking at wattage that a psu cannot supply the rated voltage to the 12v rail. The rated voltage is the ENTIRE power output and at a rediculous environment of like 5 degrees Celsius. You could try the Aspire 520w in that link and it might do fine for you. When I switched my fans to LED fans and added a second hard drive, it just didn't quite have enough gas on the 12v line. Remember, case fans, cpu, gpu are all feeding off the 12v line. The good news is that if you use that for awhile and it proves to not be enough, you can always trade it in on a higher one. That would give you time to save up another $30 bucks for a Nuuo or something. Btw, the Aspire is one of the best looking psus I've ever seen in person.

You will be best to avoid Aspire PSU and stick with the list of ones known to be good with the DFI MB..

the power supplies on that list, ones with 30A+, are way too expensive for me. compared to the aspire, 2-4x more expensive. if the aspire isnt good, i need something similar to it, 500watts with 35A+.
