I researched this a long time ago and I figured out something pretty obvious. What happens is that the mineral gets hotter no matter how much it is circulating, after awhile (a few hours later)the mineral oil will get really hot. Basically you can only use it a couple of hours at a time for anything intensive before the temperature climbs dangerously high. Also, it takes so much oil and you have to replace it more often than a water cooled system. And, I would think that the fans' motors would degrade over time since the motors would have to have a lot more torque to power through the oil.
