7800 gt pricing versus a 7800 gtx?

Thread Starter
Is the 100 dollars difference between the gtx and the gt (both 7800's) worth it?

I think it would be worth it if you had the money because you would have a kick@ss card.

I personally don't think so. An overclocked GT performs about the same as a regular clocked GTX. However when you get into the overclocked GTX's like the evga KO edition and the 512mb version there is no comparsion. I have seen reviews where my card (evga 7899GT CO) was about 5fps different on several games than a stock 7800GTX
