HAF 922 Vs. HAF 932: Internal Watercooling Loop

Hey guys,

I just got an email from newegg, their newsletter type thing and they have the HAF 932 for 140 with free shipping today, and the HAF 922 went down to 100, and i'm thinking about buying the case so i can start modding that while i save money up for parts for my build. I have pic requests + questions= can you comfortable fit a 2x120mm radiator anywhere in the HAF 922 with/or without modifications, and if so, pics?

I've been searching everywhere but can't find much.

Also, how big is the 932? Is it a pain in the @$$ to transport, etc?

Thanks for the help in advance guys!

Both can do internal.Either ain't easy.The 922 weights about 12-13 kilos loaded,the HAF 932 is 30% heavier than that.

Neither will be easy to carry about (espically with WC gear),they are big cases espically the 932.If I had to pick one for WC'ing I would go with the 932

Scratch that. Went balls to the walls and got the 932 off newegg for 140 shipped. They had a deal today, 20$ off and free shipping. Why not, right?

Yeah, the 922 case is very tight in there. I am using a slim RAD along with 20mm fans to be able to fit it up top with no Mods to the case. It would depend on your motherboard and what you would've wanted to put up their.

I'm currently building a WC internal loop in my haf-932. I have a 360mm rad (i counted wrong lol..) mounted on the top (top bay were dvd drive usually is, is empty and moved down to 3rd for extra room). I wouldn't try to WC a 922 unless you've WC'd before. a 240mm rad could easily fit on the top, or the side panel (though I wouldn't recommend this because if you open it without thinkin you might damage loop [too little tubing]).

I'm building a WC 922 right now and like triggs said, it is tight. I've actually modified my top panel to fit a double up top shifted over to one side because with the stock panel using the slim Swiftech rad and 25mm fans, I would hit my mosfet heatsink on the Gigabyte board (but clear my Corsair Dominators). For simplicity, the 932 will be easier to WC. Adding a bit more oomph to my cooling I'm also looping in a single rad in the bottom 120mm inlet.

No mods and big rads with lots of space to play - go 932... feel adventurous like me... 922

Hoping to start some assembly this weekend now that my parts are all back from the powder coaters (its so nice and black and pretty everywhere).
