34% overclock, and I've had this for a while, I just got bored and
1.) I wanted to see if I could paste an image
2.) just show people my overclock

so tell me: is this a decent overclock? I mean its an old 1.8ghz northy lol

I would say that 34% is certainly a respectable overclock. I've always heard great things about the OCing abilities of the older Northys, so you may want to try to push things further when you have the time if you can keep your temps under control.

I have a 2.4A Northy, Those chips are some of the best overclockers of all time up the Vcore on that baby and you should get a better OC. I got my 2.4A to 3.1 with no Vcore adjust. I also was overclocking it on a via chip set so as soon as i use my board for my main rig i will get a better OC.

hehe I can't go any higher no pci/agp lock, and my vcore can only go up from default (which is about 1.49....) in increments of 50mv and 100mv, so the next step up is 2.9ghz, and when I up the vcore as high as I can go..which is around 1.59v I get some thing about a floppy error...and it makes this sound...its like the game over sound on an atari. My temps at this point...with a vcore of 1.55, are about 31*c idle, and about 49.5*c full load.

Oh, and another thing...I have a foxconn 865M01 that my friend's using, I might get it back from him if I can get the "performance bios" that they supposedly have out for it...it increases its overclock features...it uses the intel 865 chipset.

So its the chipset that won't lemme lock pci/agp? I always thought that it was the design of the mobo itself not the chipset.

The design does not help, but Via chip sets just suck or Overclocking.
