You might need to do this if you overclock too far and your mobo doesn't post. Resetting the bios will usually fix this.

I have to get $80 for a new AMD Athlon 3200+ 64 Socket 939 for my computer. People say I should get an Opteron but my dad is firmly convinced that the processor is a mobile processor, which is just as well seeing as I don't think I can afford it.

The way I plan on making the money is by selling my old Pentium 4 2.0GHZ, how do I get the stock heatsink of???
Also, how much you think I could get for it on Ebay? I should be able to convince my dad to buy me an Opteron 148 if I can get $125. Is it worth it or should I just go for the Athlon?

Don't buy a new CPU just because you've bent a pin. Just carefully bend it back until they're all straight. I use a needle, just be careful not to snap it.

you can get about 50-70 off ebay for a pentium 2ghz

get the heatsink off by running it for a big with prime and then remove the HS while the comp is shutting down...a heat gun or hair dryer also helps too.

don't worry about the bends, it happens...just straighten them all out, and you shouldn't have a problem.

About the bends, I was straightening them out and once I got done I realized I am missing a prong

Ah, right. In that case you might need a new CPU then.

What would be better, an AMD Athlon 3200+ 64 Venice or an Opteron 148 Venus?

The processor I am selling isn't 2.0ghz either, it's 2.8ghz, what's that go for?

Definitely the Opteron, although you might consider a 146. It's likely to overclock just as far and is cheaper. The Opteron is likely to overclock more than the 3200 and has twice as much L2 Cache.
