Edit: I read the FAQ and I noticed it said you can flash to a non-VIVO card. My card is a VIVO one, so won't that damage it (not that I use that feature anyways)?
No, flashing a card that is unlockable is very unlikely to damage it. If you flash a compatible bios you should still be able to boot with it, but the card may become unstable. At worst it will require a PCI card to re-flash, but this is unlikely. All that will happen is that the extra pipelines won't work, the bios should still work with the card.
Flashing to a non-vivo version shouldn't damage the card either.
I can't give you definite answers like this will be fine, there's always a risk that something might go wrong. It's very unlikely though
