Well of the two, the Gigabyte 6600. However, it may be worth saving a little money and getting the 128MB 6600, as it can't fully use all the 256MB of RAM so its a bit of a waste.

If you could wait a little / stump up another £15, then its far more worth it to get a 6600GT. Much better performance for a little more cash.

If i were you I'd stay away from "TURBO" cards. They have a very small amount of onboard ram at a low bit rate (usually 64bit). If you can only choose from the two, go with your first link. EDIT: OH-NO I just took another look and both those cards are no good. By this I mean not much of an improvment. Where do you need shipping to? and you need pci express right? and how's that translate? as in how many usd we talking about, I'm kinda slow, not sure what that money symbol is.

How much do you want to spend...I got my 256MB 9800 Pro for $180 6 months ago and it runs BF2 great, I'm sure you can get one for cheap now but a 9800 Pro is good if you're on a budget

Another 512 of sytem ram would help alot. That was the only reason i was able to run things on high settings.

BF2 is a memory hog for sure, 1GB should be enough though. More always helps, if you can afford it.

The graphics card (5200) will hold you back from higher settings on BF2. A 6600GT would play well, but it couldn't handle maximum settings. For maximum you'd be looking at 6800GT/GS or an X850XT kind of level and up.

My last setup was an A64 3000+ stock, 768MB or RAM and a 6600GT. I played at 1024x768 and high settings fairly comfortably.
