Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great day!

Here is my set up so far. What I'm trying to figure out is if it's worth it for me to overclock my system by making additional purchases.

What I have so far:
CPU AMD 64 X2 3800+
Motherboard ECS nforce4-a939
Graphics Card Evga 6800gs
Cooling need to buy (thinking of purchasing a Big Typhoon)
Memory Kingston Hyper X 3200 512MB X2
Hard Drive 80GB something =)

Power Supply APEX SL-D460EXP Dual Rail
Type ATX12V
Maximum Power 460W
Fans 2
PFC No
Main Connector 20+4-Pin
Dual +12V Yes
Over Voltage Protection YES
Overload Protection YES
Approvals UL, CSA, FCC
Features Dual thermally controlled illuminated fan Built-in EMI filter & thermal control
(20+4) power connector with 4-pin removable to accommodate all motherboards
(3X2) PCI Express power connector
SATA power connector

Sound Card SB Audigy 2
Monitor ViewSonic VA1912wb 19"

Case Thermaltake XaserV
Thermaltake XaserV WinGo V7000D Blue Chassis: 1.0 mm SECC, Front Door: Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

90mm Fans: 3
Expansion Slots: 7
External 3.5" Drive Bays: 2
External 5.25" Drive Bays: 5

Internal 3.5" Drive Bays: 3
Motherboard Compatibility: Micro ATX, Standard ATX & Extended ATX(Dual CPU)
Side Air duct: No
With Side Panel Window: Yes
Model #: V7000D

Operating System Win XP SP2

Questions:
1) With the above peripherals, is it worth it to overclock my computer?
2) If I did overclock and added a Big Typhoon Heatpipe Cooler and some Arctic Silver/Ceramic?, can I suffice with just these additions? I'm trying to save money. What speed do you think I'll be able to reach if I can suffice with just these additional products?
3) Do I need anything else in terms of cooling?
4) Should I change my mobo?
5) Anything else that I'm missing?
6) Any other advice you can offer?

Seems the newer 3800's don't overclock so well. Some overclock like MAD and some get mediocre overclocks. Cross your fingers and hope you luck out. As for cooling, Check your temps now. If you want to save money and overclock just a little you could add some AS5 compound and simply upgrade the fan that is on your heatsink and leave the heatsink itself alone. However, If you want to get a bit more serious go for the thermaltake *its pure pwnage!* Others may disagree but this is my view on it.

how many amps does your psu have on each rail? that's important info esp if you're looking to oc.

but yeah, you can prob oc a lil w/ stock cooling. I did 2.4 w/ stock vcore and stock cooling on my 3200... but wanted lower temps so I got the big typhon and have it at 2.5 on 1.4125 vcore and it runs at stock temps

Soloz2, it says +3.3V = 24A ; +5V = 20A; +12V1 = 18A; +12V2 = 15A; -12V = 0.8A and +5Vsb=2A What does this mean? I'm guess +12V1 outputs 18 amps when I'm running only one rail and 15A when running both?
