Adding a gig of ram

Thread Starter
Is it worth it atm for me or should i save my money, i'm adding a new vid and psu to my aging 2500-m system oc'd to 2.537ghz i run most of the time. Wondering would it help my gaming performace in games liek BF2 and Q4 i like alot. Not going to upgrade whole system tell M2 is out.

System Specs

Gigabyte 7NNXP
2x512 samsung in dual
2500-m at 2537
9500pro going to either a 6800gt or x850xt. Really all u need to know.

Would extra gig help big time in gaming or is it not worth it i burn and encode alot of movies also. is there a chance if i added a samsung 1 gig stick it would run dual with all 3.

2 gig of ram for bf2 is the only way, im nearly allways the first on the map because of reduced loading times. you will only be able to get another 2 sticks of either 256 or 512

It will help the high memory demand stuff you mention... gaming and vid encoding, but you should do 2x1g modules.
