Been reading about pelts...

Im just a little bent on what Wattage to go with, and stay safe with my current watercooling setup. The watercooler isn't great, it's mediocre. It keeps my current CPU with stock core @ 28-30C idle. - I hear they (AMD X2 3800) use about 89W at idle, Im curious how to tell just how much of that 89W is being disipated through the water? basicly Im trying to figure out if my watercooling setup will be sifficient enough to cool the hot side of the pelt.

I'm also wondering just where/how to waterproof the socket/mobo and surrounding areas. If anyone has pics of where to put the neoprine, and the waterproofing silicone, I'd be mucho apreciado!

kthx!

If you have dual heater core then that's enough for a 226 pelt unit. I have mine idle @-12c and load @ 5c

It's a stock AWC1 water cooler from KingWin. Im not impressed with the radiators' efficiency though.

Yeah, That won't do anything for a pelt.

In order to properly cool a pelt you would need something in the flavour of a Mid-High range WaterCooling system with AT LEAST 2x120mm Fans.
