Is this a good oc on air? also my top load temp is at 61 wont go higher. Is that ok to keep my cpu at? It took me about a month to learn and screw with things to get it stable at this speed. there is alot more things to take into consideration since my 3000+ xp. Thanks for your help eventhough I didnt ask for any because all of my questions were answered from reading your guides and other posts.

generally try to keep the load temp below 55c (50 preferably) but you shouldn't really hurt it. my 2600+ barton was loading at that for a year or so before i started to OC and noticed the temps.... needless to say i got better cooling

you'll be ok, thats on the high side, but your not going to blow it up. it would have to get REALLY high to do that. id say that if your stable then thats just fine. good job so far

It was'nt stable. I bsod through 1 set of tests. Im assumming that its my vcore but it could also be my memory. I got this patriot extreme performance with 2,3,2,5 on the timmings and absolutely back it 100%. I could probobly throw 2.70 at the memory to be sure but I'd rather not throw more at the vcore. what do you think?

try running memtest, that should tell you if its the memory or not. i'll try to go find a link

EDIT:here it is also

this is me quoting the duke, quoting ncsa

"A quick test complements of ncsa
When you boot to memtest it auto starts - pressing C 1 3 x <enter> <enter> starts to loop the test where x is the test number.

Once you have done this it will only loop that test until reset or configured for another test.

Tests 5 & 6 are quicker but 8 is more accurate once you start to settle down the OC and the timings / Vdimm"
