Thermalright, not Thermaltake has the compat chart!
If Thermaltake has one I to would love to see it, never found one at there sight.

How I mounted my Big Thphoon
1. Remove MB
2. get longer screws and 4 nuts.
3. grind or file heads down so when you incert then from the bottom they are flush with the support base. Screw them in snugly.
4. Reinstall MB.
5. Screw on 2 nuts about 1/2 way down.
6. Apply thin layer of AS5
7. Mount Big T
8. Use the other 2 nuts to draw down the HS
9. Move up the first 2 nuts and snug them against the bottom of the retainer. Doing this lock the two top retaing nuts and keeps them from vibrating loose!
1-9 is far easier overall than screwing downward do to the size of the HS!

Well as far as I can remember, the scythe ninja outperforms the BT. Wonder why no one has used it though

Hehe I was gonna start a thread but I guess I will ask this question here instead. I have the DFI ultra-d and there is a yellow bracket surrounding the cpu. Is this the thing that I have to remove, or do you just remove the screws and screw it down into the bracket? Thanks!

i managed to put the big typhhon on, by the way no need to remove the backplate on the asus k8v se deluxe motherboard
BUT since i probable messed up the screw h9ole on taking the plate off it was not possible for me to put on the screw on tightly on the riginal backplate

Therefore used the h plate supplied as the backplate0
isnt hard to instalkl at all. farily easy

Ive now got a idel temp of 35-38 degrees c is that good?

The backplate is not NECESSARY but is reccomended, I personally have no backplate on right now because the one that came with the Big Typhoon was stuck on my old MSI board lol! And I don't know why I don't have the Asus one on there, I might have broken it or thrown it away in a daze of stupidity lol.
