ARCTIC COOLING Silencer Rev.3

SilverStone 120mm fan

THERMALRIGHT XP-120
Not sure if you have an extra $50 left in your budget, but if you do, I strongly suggest you sub in the Creative X-Fi for the Audigy2. It not only sounds better, but supports EAX5.0 and is now being sold for $103. It's a KILLER card, I've compared it side by side to Audigy and have also previously owned Audigy.

Of course it will, there are absolutley no compatability issues with any speakers/headsets/microphones & sound cards.

also, switch out the psu for something you can handle...sunbeam NUUO. It's damn near bullet proof, and is 50 more watts than your seasonic...plus the price is near unbeatable too. it's also modular=more air flow

I've heard the Thermaltake Big Typhoon is a much quieter solution than the xp120...and it can get better results (so I've heard)...but I like quiet myself. And it's 4-in-1 but I don't know what that means

good luck!

EDIT: to comment on the raid0 thing, the drives also have to be sata capable...I've never seen an IDE drive in raid0.

IDE drives most definitely can be configured in a Raid0 array.

I'm sure he knew that, I think he was just making sure that you didn't get IDE drives if you were possibly thinking about it.
