low CPU voltages w/ high overclocks - Page 3

Thread Starter
my problem is that if i crank it over 2.6 GHz it isn't stable. i've put 1.69 volts to it and it hasn't ran stable at 2.7 + GHz. i want to hit 2.8, but i don't think i'll be able to w/o going voer 1.7v.

I might not be the CPU thats causing your problems. I might be your memory. What settings are you using to run @ 2.7Ghz?

Also, I've just started to try to oc my 3200+ thats in my second rig and I'm having to learn how to overclock all over again due to the mobo having a VIA chipset.

also what vdimm are you at? have you run memtest to check if it is the ram? just my 2 cents

zeus, i know how you feel. my 2600+ and a VIA mobo make things interesting....and to think that some might never experience the joys of VIA OCing....
