Need Help Uninstalling.

Thread Starter
Well I recently installed a game demo from the maximum pc disc (act of war). And it default saves to the cd drive which is not possible so I made a mistake and just put in like C:/ and not program files or anything. Its not in the programs menu under the start button so I just go to my computer, then click on the demo and there is a icon/shortcut right there. Well my question is since its not in the start menu where is the uninstall feature or how do I uninstall it? I was told I shouldn't just delete the file. Why not?

EDIT: I downloaded a demo called D-BUG (its a stupid game) from file shack but there is no uninstall feature under the start menu. How do I do it then? This is not what I am talking about above.

I heard I wasnt supposed to do that because it will only get rid of like 2/3 of the stuff instead of all of it like a uninstall. it wont be under the programs menu in the control panel with the add/remove place because thats the problem its not saved to the program files its saved to just C:/
