7,001 mhz amd 2500+ barton core

This is just a glitch in the game I think, but it's funny. pretty sure my cpu is only at 2,190mhz. Also wondering if anyone knows a quick fix, since i got my 6800 cs:s always starts at 1024x768 at all high settings. I change it to 800x600 and turn the brightness up but the next time i start the game it goes back. Not a real big deal I guess, at least it's running at 7001mhz
