As to the Chipset, I haven't applied AS5 to it, I'm gonna do that tonight. Probably within the next 5-10 minutes.

As to HTT & LDT Voltages, where should these be? What would you suggest as to voltages. I'll be putting AS5 on the Chipset in the next 5 minutes. According to my DMM, I'm sitting at: LDT: 1.26 Volts, and Chipset, 1.52 Volts.

Will set the fan speed in my BIOS when I get there.
Just remember that the memory thrive on high voltages so do not be afraid of giving it more juice.

Burn if you use AS5, don't put too much, there are live contacts on teh substrate and it's possible to short things out if the grease were to touch the resistors.

With my two DFI motherboards anyway, high LDT or chipset voltages were not necessary. For the time being, set LDT to 1.3V and chipset to 1.6V, those voltages allowed both my DFI boards to break 300 MHz. Have you tried lowering the HTT frequency to see if it allows you to clock yoru chip higher?

Okay, just AS5'ed the core, sitting at 42/43C right now, at idle. I had to practically scrape the yellow gunk off the heatsink, boy was that stuff hard to get off! Got it back together, did some wire management, booted up, hung. Reset CMOS, Blank screen, with underscore flashing. Did it again, saw the NF4 screen, froze...Finally, got it to post, and then it showed a HDD failure. First, went into my closet and put on a new pair of boxers, and then troubleshooted the problem. Seated everything properly, and booted back up okay.

Anyway, Sitting at stock right now, I'm gonna go do some overclocking!

@ Colin:
Thanks, I'll give that a shot. I'll bump the Chipset up to 1.6, and the LDT to 1.3. My RAM is getting hot, so I know I need to put a fan on it, so I'll be rigging one up soon. Thanks guys

Just needed a bit of a vcore boost. Tested at 3.5 with Memtest, passed twice before rebooting. Boosted the vcore up to 1.48 according to my DMM. Passed OCCT's stability test, graphs to follow:

Good work... and nice memory

A wee point on your Genie settings as you have Tras set incorrectly.

The Genie will be be currently set at 200-E-1-2-2-5.... etc

And should be 200-E-1-2-5-2.......

Note Genie 1 = 1.5.

While CAS is generally written down as 1.5-2-2-5, the Genie for Tras is in a different place, an easy one to overlook but will give you problems later down the track.

Keep on going up

Thanks! I'm heading off to school, so I'll post later today with more results. I do have a paper to write, but I'll manage to get some overclocking in as well. I'll give that memory timing a go, too. Thanks again!

Also ncsa, what does the DRAM drive strength and the different "strengths" for other stuff do- what should I have these set at?

Burn if you feel like living life on teh wild side, try the timings in my siggy. I think they're the absolute fastest (at least they're the fastest of any combination for me) but the memory will require a lot more voltage probably 3.8V at least.

Nice results, I don't know what DRAM drive strength does but hopefully the master can answer those questions.

Heh...Why not? I just overclocked it a bit higher, then it told me it got an error loading my OS. Should I bump the Vcore startup voltage up a bit?

I'll give those settings a go, and report back.
