3700+ SD Overclocking Journey - Page 6

Well, I loosened all the way up to 3-3-3-6 and still nothing. Divider, at one point was 133, so around 1:3. I'm going to bump it up to 3.8 vdimm and see what happens. I'll report back.

Argh, this just does not want to work. Anyway, I loosened all the way up to 4-4-4-7, no luck. Ran a 1:2 divider, no luck, at 2.5 Ghz! You have to be kidding me. Well, for settings.

Was running Vcore 1.610, Vdimm 3.85, Vchipset 1.6, VLDT 1.4, anything else? Multi was @ 10, HTT multi was at both 3 and 4.

It'll boot, but it isn't stable. I decided to give memtest a shot at the above settings, got loads of errors, straigt off the bat. Backed off Vdimm to 3.7 and enabled CPC, tehy stopped. It isn't stable right now, but at least I don't have any BSOD's.

Burn, I wouldn't run that high of voltage on the Vcore. Have you experimented with the 10X multiplier? You should be able to get 10X with a 275 fsb on about 1.54 volts. I'd give that a try if you're struggling with a high 9X run. There's no way you should need that high of voltage at the speeds you're playing with. I can do 2.92 with 1.6 volts, so I think you're overvolting even though ever chip is different.

Okay, did another memtest at 250*9, got the following:
1 error on test 1
1 error on test 2
tests 5,6 lots of errors
test 7, 250+ errors

500+ errors total

Anyway, on that run, settings were as follows:

I still think you should get away from the 9X multiplier and toy with the 10X. I've seen several people struggle with the 9X, so I never even bothered.

Okay, I'll try that. What FSB should I try, and at what voltages? All voltages if you're able to think that far. I'm not sure about Chipset and LDT voltages, among vcore and vdimm.
