Can anyone tell me before i overclock which sata ports are locked so i dont corrupt my hard drives

All Sata ports are locked on Nforce4 boards I believe.

Sorry, not sure which are which but it's recommended to use the NForce SATA controlers.
Perhaps you could get the author, ncsa, to add that tid bit of information to his article

The key is to ensure that the PCIe and PCI bus' are fixed when OC'ing... 100MHz and 33Mhz respectively. This is in the BIOS.

For the Non-deluxe module, the 4 ports of the nVidia controller are locked... so you can use any of these.

What I have discovered recently was that the MB would top out at around HT 320 and would start to drop the SATA ports but up to 315 was OK, while this is low it should be fine for most air / water cooled chips.
