... looking at parts/prices a little while after you've put it together and finding out you could have done better if you waited for a little while.

It happens every time.

Actually, I think the worst thing to do is, on your first build, throw a screw driver into the computer out of frustration.

Boy I'm glad my main comp isn't my first build.

No, I'm pretty sure it's to tell your girlfriend/wife, "Just wait ten more minutes honey, I just want to see how far I can get the FSB".

Actually the worst thing to do is to grab your cat and rub it viciously across the carpet finally throwing it in your case at your board and watching it trying to claw its way out.

I accidentally dropped mine onto NASA's LCROSS, big mistake.

Discovering you still have to put in the 4 pins connector of the 20+4(24...) motherboard main power thing.
Plugging in while computer is running, that would be the worst thing to do.



And no, I actually shut my computer off when I discovered that I forgot something.
