This morning my MSI K8Neo V2.0, crapped out on me.......I JUST GOT IT TWO WEEKS AGO. Naturally I was furious, I went to Fry's and found a good deal, an ASUS K8N wich has the same chipset as my old MSI so I didn't have to reinstall my O.S. I also bought a new heat sink and fan, a Zalman solid copper for 49.99 and some artic silver for 7.99. Is my ASUS a whole lot better than my old MSI? Is it a good thing that my MSI died in it's sleep?

Actually, the seller usually replaces the MB in the first 30 days, but not always.
If you bought it locally, you may be able to exchange it and if not MSI will probably issue an RMA.

Both can OC rather well depending on the overall system.

Frankly, I suspect you problem is your "350W" PS and possibly not the MB!
If the Asus starts acting up you will know for sure.
You should have 24a on the 12+ rail(s) total for a stable system.

Without knowing what make and model you currently have, it would be hard for us to say. However, your PSU might have a sticker on it stating the amps per rail info.

that means the power supply "Ultra 350w" needs to be able to deliver 24amps of current to the 12v+ to properly power the board. Personaly i don't use anything less than quality 500w power supply. If the psu(power supply unit) has 2 or more 12v+ rails add them up to get the amps total the psu can deliver.... also remeber that is the max output for the supply so a little headroom(extra amperage) wouldn't hurt :-) i just looked at Utra's site it says 18a but look at the sticker on the side of the case it will tell ya.
