I have read, repeatedly, that your dedicated physx card shouldn't be much further down the scale than your primary card. I don't know if that is true.

If it's true, than your choice of a 250 might not be a good choice.

Then should I just scrap it since I really dont play any PhysX games anyhow?? And put something in like this to power my 2x 20 inch screens (Only for 2D user)

What if I pop in a 560 Ti for gaming and my old 8500GT for PhysX would the 8500GT be enough?

No. It seems that when the drivers detect three identical cards (even if they aren't Tri-SLI capable), it doesn't let you use the third card only for PhysX because they figure what is the point if you'd rather do Tri-SLI and GPU PhysX. This applies wither or not your cards are Tri-SLI capable or not. It is possible that a driver bug causes this. You'll need a different card to have dedicated PhysX support.

OP you may update the thread for the SLI w/ PhysX question.

I am using 2 EVGA GTS450's SLI

and MSI GTS 450 Cyclone for PhysX

Drivers: 266.58
SLI Hack: SLIPatch_v1.2_beta

I am running 2 GTX 460 1gb in sli and an older 9500 gt 1gb that I just picked up for PHYS-X for $20, after installing it and setting it as the dedicated phys-x card, the nvidia supersonic slead demo shows im running phys-x on my cpu anyone know how I can fix that??
Right Click your desktop select Nvidia Control Panel. Then select Set PhsyX configuration. There is a drop down that will allow you to select the GPU of your choice.

However, I have read that using a set up like yours will actually slow down performance, versus just letting your SLI handle the Phsyx or adding a dedicated Phsyx GPU of the same generation as your primary GPU(s). In your case, something like a 430 or 450.
