Its hard to judge which is better unless u review both in the same lab in the same place and everything else is identical..

I would agree with you BUT..I am runnning a hotter card at 118Mhz more clock..And I am killing them..Room temp here varies from 20c to 22c..And there fan is better then mine , I am using a stock heat sink fan from a duron 800

Plus ya can google for the copper sink I use and find it for like $4.00..

From looking at installation pictures it seems as though the backside of the cooler where the fan is blocked the SLI attachment so it seems you will NOT be able to use SLI with this VGA cooler

Unless someone says it can be used in SLI, if you ever plan on going 2 cards I wouldnt use this cooler and find one that doesnt block the SLI connector

The Arctic Cooler is the best IMHO I have one on my X700 Pro and the one that is mentioned is the one I ordered for my new 7800GT . besides lowering vid cards temps great it lowered my case temps because it exhausts out the back instead of recycling case air, because of lower case temps my CPU temp dropped as well.

Yep, NOTHING touches the AC Silencers, my ATI Silencer keeps my X800XL overclocked at like 35c idle 50c load.

An Ati card and the 7800 GPU can not be compaired for cooling..The 7800 needs a bit more cooling as it pots out a lot more heat
