System Builder?

Hi, is there any one out there that is willing to do a quick search for computer parts? I would like you to search for all the basic components (case, hd, cpu, etc.) for the best computer possible under $500 (AMD based).
If you could do this, I would greatly appreciate it. (Hope this isn't against any rules :S)

I don't mean to offend, but why don't you do it? I, along with many others on this forum, are more than willing to help you choose the best rig for your needs and budget... but you've got to do the homework too. we're just here to help.

take a look and try to put together a rig on your own. Also the 'best computer possible' will depend largely on what you plan on doing with it. For example a computer designed for gaming will have a better gfx card than one designed for internet browsing. Do you need a large hard drive to store many files, or a smaller one? what programs you use will also decide how much RAM you need. Do you plan to OC the rig to get more performance? or will you be satisfied with stock speeds? These are all questions that need to be answered and only you can answer them.

a good place to look for parts is newegg.com.

you will need:
mobo
cpu
ram
video card (unless you opt for integrated)
optical drives
hard drive (interface depends on mobo)
case
psu (some cases come w/ psu's but they are largely junk)

optional:
floppy drive
monitor
keyboard
mouse
speakers

No offence taken, in fact, I was expecting alot of that kind of responses. I already have parts lined up, and what not, but I just wanted to "basically" see what you guys would put together. So I can base those results on what kinds of parts I should be getting. I have a computer (custom built by yours truly), and have been working with computers for about a year (so I guess I am a newbie at it, i'm only 14). I need an Idea of what you guys build. Yes by the way I LOVE NEWEGG!!!!! they rock sooo much! But ya wanna know another good one...geeks.com they are soo awesome too (but of course new egg IS better).
