I asked him to set me up with some high end stuff and I ask for Onkyo and he highly recommended against it as apparently he is having a lot of issues while setting customers Home Theaters. I really dont know what is the exact detail but I did some research and there are various forums stating problems (reliability) with the A/V's
Sucks because I was dead set on getting an 807 but now I'm looking at Yamaha RX-V1065 to go with an Oppo BDP-83

Onkyo makes some great receivers, but they tend to run hot and they almost always have more problems than Marantz, Denon, NAD, etc. But Onkyo costs less too... if you have the money I would suggest Marantz, NAD, Yamaha...
edit: great choice on the Oppo BDP-83! It is by far the best BD player available at a reasonable price, and as a CD/SACD player it's great for the price.
