ROFL. Monitor just blew up. Looking for 17'' or 19''.

Well..... something unexpected happend... the monitor... fried(?).

Both Plague and I doubted it... but from the looks of it, that's what happened. Thanks to Plague's generosity, I'm using his spare 17'' monitor for the moment. I have a week till I get a new one.

I'm looking for either 17'' or 19'', whichever one's cheaper... (lol.. obviously the 17''.. but if the 19'' - well-known brand like ViewSonic, Samsung, etc. - is around 17'' price, I'll take it. I've been using a 15''... and... now that I use this 17''.. boy, does this look nice! I love it!! It's just like when my family was using a 20'' TV and "upgraded" to 52'' HDTV!!

I've looked at Newegg, monarch, zipzoomfly, etc. but couldn't find the one I like.. with thin frame (I'm tired of thick frames).

Mum wants me to get one from Costco, but Costco doesn't really have a wide variety of monitors....

The monitor needs to be of nice quality (brand name) yet quite cheap.... between $200 and $250... coz my parents have been without jobs for about 2 months (yes, Dad opened the restaurant but the business is slow right now, you see..)

I've been looking at this and this.

But if someone can find me a better one for cheaper, that'd be great.

Thanks, guys.

have you looked at this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009067
Its a 19" lcd with 8ms response and fits nicely in your budget, I can personally vouch for it and mine also came with NO dead pixels.

Looks nice, but with not as much shipping would be nice.... I know that it weighs a bit, but I'd like to pay as little shipping as possible. (some of them had it free...)
