DDR2 timeings are worse then DDR, but if you get a good brand, its not by much. However, the crappy brands to have crappy timings (like the 6-6-6-15 you were talking about)

yes but thats because ddr2 runs at twice the speed of ddr. if you were to lower the speed of ddr2 you could get much lower timmings. i read it on an article somewhere on this board that ddr2 runs at twice the speed and bandwidth of normal ddr. and also ddr2 runs at lower vdimms
