and newbie, when I clock to 2.5 it sprays once every 2-5 minutes you are right. But the can still lasts almost a week because it only sprays in very short intervals (the alarm beep is not constant, it beeps for less than 1 second then pauses for about 2 seconds and repeats, 3 beeps/sprays drops temp to aroun35, and the air cooling is unmoded so I can drop back to 2.2 whenever I'm outta "ice". I also up the alarm to 70 when @ 2.5 to save on "ice", because I've read that barton core cpu's are made to run up to 85 degrees c. At 2.2 I run in the upper 80's with no problems, before my mod I could clock up to 2.5 but it would overheat and crash as soon as I ran anything. and also I already have cpuz, and it as well has glitched a high cpu clock before, all though it wasn't as high, said it was at 5,612 mhz. If I can get it to do the same thing I'll post a picture. The cpu is not REALLY running that fast, can't figure out why my programs keep doing this, no other preblems. Maybe the liquid from the caned air is frying my components. socket 939 here I come

guys for real this mod REALLY WORKS, I shouldn't have posted that bunk cpu clock, now you won't believe me. it's cool that at least my computer THINKS it's fast. seems fast to me too. I also think this mod is safe because I've run it for a month on constant "ice" with no problems. If something burnsup I'll let y'all know.

why used compressed air bottles for this, whynot just use a CO2 bottle turned upside down it might not be as effective, but its REALLY cheap (get it at welding supply places), and you could cool the whole inside of your computer if you just turned it right side up. it would be like poor mans phase changing, because its going from liquid co2 to gas co2.... although you wont be getting crazy low temps, but it would help out.

yea we know that it will work, its just not a great way to get people to trust you, thats all.

Alright that's enough kids.

This thread will be closed now since it seems it can only go down hill. Buddy lee, it's an interesting experiement and while I somewhat doubt your results feel free to post again (the facts only please ). If I can ask though, next time around please post temperature readings from Sandra, Everest or SpeedFan. That would help win people a bit easier and if possible, draw a mock up of what you're using in Paint.
