I considered the pentium M very hardly due to its superior gaming performance. But I decided against it because it was slower overall since I intend to do rendering and use alot of applications such as photoshop.

Good point... if you don't play games much then I guess you're better off with your current setup. But I still would have gotten the M anyways just for like 1/4 the heat and longer battery. I would take that anyday over faster video rendering.

The heat is definately an issue for me... as for the battery life I mostly just plug it in, besides I have to batterys which I know could last twice as long with a pentium M. But the point is I got what I wanted and am happy with it and I will probly never know what a M feels like.
