Same. Some program auto installed chrome and I tried once. Afterwards I cannot go back to firefox unless I need to search something on a page, which chrome cannot do.

I like Firefox because of the extensions and I find it very annoying the way Chrome does bookmarks and homepages.

CTRL-F pulls up a search box in Chrome, top right corner.

I am using an 11 year old dell with a 2.4 ghz P4 processor , 2 gb ram and running XP pro with service pack 3 and all 129 trillion updates .... needless to say that things go slow on my machine sometimes since XP and all the service packs and updates now takes more hard disk space than this machine came with.

To all the people above who have said that Chrome is fast and doesn't hog resources I ask .... ARE YOU SERIOUS?

CHROME IS A SPACE HOG!!! Chrome runs a separate process for each active tab. If you have the system resources to support it, it is awesome because you can have one page crash without crashing the browser but it becomes very "bulky" very fast.

Personally I have the best results with Firefox and Opera

I use Chrome. I used Firefox for a while, but then the browser refused to start one day, and I tried out Chrome and have never looked back.

Personally, I think most any browser these days is good. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Chrome uses more memory per tab than any other browser, but it also releases memory faster than anything else when closing a tab. It also has excellent browser crash control, only losing whatever tab was acting up, since these tabs are all in their own processes. I also love being able to move tabs around not only on that window, but also being able to separate them into another window or converge them into a different window that is open. The minimalist UI is fantastic, and since its release, most of the other browsers have tried to be more minimalist.

I noticed that chrome can be a memory hog when it comes to multiple tabs..but its quicker to launch compared to firefox.
