Hi guys just finished installing the mod aftermarket accessories for my thermaltake bigwater. I installed the TT water lvl indicator, TT aquabay M1, TT water flow indicator and TT water temp lcd display.

I gotta say they look awesome ! was just wondering if the setup loop i used is correct or if anyone has any opinions on a different/better loop setup.

Also whats the optimal water temp for water cooling ? Im getting 34C idle water temps my room temp is 31C yes its bloody HOT here

i have front mounted the radiator for better temps thanks some great advice on this forum and i have also installed a fan to cool the mosfets and pwm. (seen in pics )

the loop i have is pump > water flow indicator > cpu block > temp prope > rad > resevoir > water lvl indicator > pump

cant test my load temps or anything as yet im waiting on my 7800GTX 512 I CANT WAIT

thanks guys !

Well you sound very pleased and it looks like it was a challenge.... Trans and others are in a better poistion to comment on the loop order ... but well done for taking a non-air cooling path.

Looks good to me. Ambient temps do play a big role in your cpu temps obviously, and are often overlooked. Expect your idle temps to be around 5 C or so (estimate) above ambient. Expect load temps to be anywhere from 13-18 C above ambient depending on how hot the CPU runs, voltage, and the quality of your setup.

I was actually feeling those 30 C+ ambient days not too long ago and my CPU was idling in the high 30's and loading in the mid 40's. Now she idles around 26-27 C and loads in the low 30's... gotta love how the weather affects our computers.
