ok the deal is that i want a projector for the loungeroom, well thats what im telling the missus....lol.....lol......really want it for the rig BUT; what is the deal, are they any good, the resolution is it native or some upscaled garbage, is 800x600 just way too garbage and 1024x768 goin to do the job, widescreen or 4:3, i just dont know the deal at all when buying one so ive come to the forum for help, has anybody got a projector running on their pc, is the pointer accurate for gaming and aiming, hehehe, i want the tank in b2 to be life size!!! ive got the green light from the missus to get one finally for christmas but im very lost, so is having a projector like having a big monitor at higher res going to take extra grunt to run it???? help me for games sake

If you want to game you're really going to want to spend a bit more than the regular projector's as some are pretty slow and barely good enough for movies. I'll link to one that I think would do ok for gaming.
It's about the cheapest you're probably going to find with high lumens and a good screen resolution. Good luck, Wish I could afford one lol.

I have a 1024x768 Toshiba Projector....it has great picture. It was about 2 grand though...

I'm still working it out and havn't tryed it with a computer yet. It makes 360 look wonderful though

when you run it on ya pc can you post ya results please, very interested to know if it is worth it at all, dont want to get one and realise that it is not clear at all, thinking it should be ok........i hope
