Clock question ..

Hello!

I klicked on detect maximal clock frequens in coolbits 2
then i klicked the same in ATITool , and it gives a higher value , so .. my question is?what is the freq. i should follow?

I have an GeForce FX 5700LE

you shouldn't use ati tool for geforce, I thought ati tool was used to just see artifacts.

You can use ATI tool to overclock nVidia based graphics cards. It has added support for that specific task.

If ATI tool is reporting higher clock frequencies then coolbits 2, I would first overclock using ATI tool and see if your card is stable at those higher frequencies then which coolbits 2 reports.

hmm... I've been unable to use ati tool on my card. it freezes my computer

The new beta of ATItool is awesome, and i actually trust its find max tool over coolbits. I tend to try and find what my memorys max is first. From there is start to adjust my core in 5mhz increments, I run 3dmark05 to test. Once it crashes or 3dmark scores go down i take a step down from that point. What is the use of the higher overclock if it is not stable?
